Functionality has been a completely new avenue.  I have used archive material, photography and observational drawings directly as surface design through mono-print processes. I was doing a lot of sketching while taking in my surroundings after immigrating to Melbourne in 2018. The flat surfaces of plates, platters and slab built cups offered a surface on which to utilise this collection of two dimensional imagery.
